Formerly known as YesMisterBloodVessel, The Amatory Murder is an electronically-tinged rock band hailing from Brooklyn, New York. An eclectic blend of industrial rock and the more upbeat sounds of pop rock, the band employs a variety of foundational sounds including atmospheric synths and programmed beats mixed with live drumming and heavy guitars--all topped off with angsty vocals.

The first full-length album by The Amatory Murder titled Racing The Relapse was released in 2008 under the band's previous name, YesMisterBloodVessel, to an enthusiastic sold out audience at Arlene's Grocery in New York City. In 2010, the title track and official music video from The Amatory Murder's follow up album, A Different Frequency was released. The full album is due out later this year.

The Amatory Murder have been a featured artist on 87.7FM New York's Indie Darkroom, as well as Paradize Radio, and their songs receive airplay on numerous college and internet radio stations throughout the world.
